Draught in Chattanooga: This one pours an opaque dark brown color. There was a frothy tan head on it that left some lacing. Nice hop nose to it. Some pine, citrus and floral hop aromas. Bitter, but not too bitter taste. Piney hops, coffee notes and a good chocolate malt body without any sweetness. A nice beer.

On tap at Taco Mac. Pours very dark brown with tan head. Aromas of pine, citrus, roasted malts, and some chocolate. Flavors of sweet chocolate malts, pine, light citrus, and decent amount of hop bitterness. Body was nice. Pretty solid black IPA.

Black appearance with a beige head. Aroma contains a ton of coffee, espresso, and chocolate with some citrus in the background. The flavor is more of the coffee flavors but you can detect a pine and orange peel presence. Palate is a little thin. Overall this is one of the better I’ve had of the style.
