Had on tap at Big River Grille in downtown Chattanooga. Poured to dark brown color with a thin tan head that stuck around to mid-glass and left a little lacing. Both the nose and taste were predominantly chocolate, with just a tad of roasted nuts and coffee. Mouthfeel was medium bodied and almost chewy sweet, but enjoyable, with a finish that was long and somewhat sticky.

Draft at the source, with injured typing finger. Clear maroon. Subtle brownie aroma. Taste is watery brownies. Tastes more or less like the brown.

Served on tap at the JAX Seven Bridges location. Looks inky black in somewhat low light. Small and semi-durable tan head. Almost no lacing. Medium body with near medium carbonation. Aroma: simple: dark roasted malts. Flavor: rich but not quite balanced. A bit more burnt and smokey malts than optimal. Lasting, smokey, dark roasted grain aftertaste.

Pint at big river in chattanooga with Brian. Good stout. Nothing spectacular about it but very solid. I wish there food was as good as the beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Seven Bridges in Jacksonville for RBWG. Pours a deep brown with thin tan head and light lacing. Aroma of roasted malts, ash, earthy hops, and bitter chocolate. Taste follows with a medium body and pretty thin for a stout. Not too bad.

Tap at Seven Bridges during RBWG 2013. Pours red-brown with a tight beige cream head. A pretty good-looking beer. Ashy roast in the nose, bit of earth. Sweet, some light roast, earthy bitterness, milk chocolate. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderate roast to finish, some tobacco, sweet cocoa. Decent.
