Draught, .5 liter stein. Amber with off-white head. Some lacing. Malty aroma and flavor with some hop bitterness and lots of carbonation.

Draught in Chattanooga location: this one pours a clear, slightly darker amber color. There was somewhat of a off-white head on it that doesn’t hang around long, but leaves some lacing. The aroma is a hair weak, but has notes of malt, as well as some nuttiness and grassiness to it. The taste is somewhat dry. There is a smokiness to it also. Some caramel malts, but no real sweetness at all. Also some nuttiness. Not bad.

clear amber, dry malt aroma, rich malt flavor, just a touch of sweetness, nutty character

clear amber, fine thin beige head, nice toasted and biscuit malt aroma, rich malt flavor, good hop flavor but a bit too much for an octoberfest leaving it too dry, the sweetness does eventually show along with some nice yeasty bread character,

Draft at Chattanooga location. Amber in the glass with a creamy white head that slowly settled and left light lacing. The aroma was of light malts. The flavor found spices and caramel. Light body, watery, and tingly carbonation.

A dark almost mahogany pour this beer really looks good. I only picked up malt on the aroma, I expected spices but nothing was there. A sweet malty flavor. A clean bitter finish. It was a tad over carbonated or fizzy for my taste. A good beer but just not as spicy as I expected.
