The lightest beer in color and body in our lineup. Southern Flyer Light Lager is a refreshing beer and a true American lager. Liberty hops add to its all-around great taste.

For a light beer, this one is higher on the scale. It has a very light finish and texture that makes it a good choice if you are not a big beer drinker. I would tout this one a "sorority girl" beer. You can get your date to drink it and you won’t feel bad that she is.

the waitress said this was like a bid or miller light. she was right. of course i equate someone saying that with "dont bother, this is beer flavored water." and like i said she was right.

I guess that I could repeat what Cheri said, it’s for the BMC crowd, not bad, but not worth the trouble.

A standard light beer made for the BMC crowd going to Big River. Some malt in there and not too bad but its pretty light and watery. Pass on it

No aroma. Pale yellow in color. Little head. Good lace. Diacetyl notes. Could pass for a blonde ale. Not bad. Fresh. Crisp. Light hops. No flaws.

Atlanta. On tap at Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery in Buckhead. Hmm...how to describe this? Corn. Corn, corn, and more corn. I can see an appeal to this beer, as it seems a bit tastier than most light beers. But then, it tastes like corn. Strongly of corn. A nice brew, it looks quite pale with not mcuh head and is better as it warms. If you like light brews, check this out. It’s not bad....just corny.

UPDATED: JUL 3, 2009 Disney Boardwalk. On Tap. I always find it hard to get excited for a lite beer, but the Florida heat on this day was oppresive, and something quenching and uncomplicated was on the menu. Light wheaty nose with subtle breadiness balanced the floral lightly hopped body. Thin and smooth with a slightly dry finish, this is a decent, if not exceptional beer. Certainly better then anything else you can get at Disney beer-wise.

on tap @ chattanooga. Light watery appearance, with a little bit of head. Musty damp cardboard aroma, with a flavor that I think if I may quote myself, just sucks. Bitter beer face alert.

UPDATED: JAN 16, 2007 On tap at the Chattanooga location. Light pale golden appearance, little to no head; bit of a wet paper bag aroma. Has a tad bit of a sweet honey flavor to it, otherwise typical lager flavor. About par for a brewpub light - brewed for the masses.
Earlier Rating: 10/7/2003 Total Score: 2.4 Combined on 1/16/07
Had on tap at the brewpub in Jacksonville. Had a very light golden, pale appearance with a light white head. Has that patented wet paper bag aroma. There is not a whole lot going on here - pretty waterery with a brief hint of hop bitterness in the aftertaste. Probably the least favorite of the sample.
