Aroma of caramel, sweet malt and nuts. Flavor was nutty with a bready malt note, along with a hint of hops at the end. Medium body with mild carbonation. KieferUGA (387), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Oct 13, 2008 Draft at Rock Bottom Atlanta during the 4th of July Celebration with alexanderj and kleyland. Ruby brown color. Off white head. Aroma of bready malt. Thin and watery. Flavor is malty with hints of chocolate. kseecs16 (601), Westmont, Illinois, USA Oct 1, 2008 Draught at the Charlotte Rock Bottom. Light brownish red with a creamy light tan head that laces nicely. Nutty brown and slightly hoppy aroma. Flavor is largely dry malty with little hint of hops, not very sweet. Arrived at the table a very nice deep reddsih brown with a thin-moderate light brown head. Mild aroma of chocolate and malt, which also comes through in the flavor. A little over-carbonated for me, but otherwise a decent brown ale.
