On tap at Big River, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Nose brings out lots of banana and wheat, along with citrus. Flavour brings out a nice mix of banana upfront followed by citrus and wheat. A little too sweet and syrupy for my taste - not so good.

On tap at the brewpub pours a clear pale golden color with a small white head leaving a few specks of lacing. Aroma is cereal grains and citrus (likely from the lemon wedge on the rim of glass). Taste is a citrusy bitterness with a malty sweetness underneath. Light bodied with generous carbonation. A little below average for the style.

On draught at the Big River Brewpub south of Vancouver, BC. Pours a hazy golden blonde brew with a thin white head that quickly dissipates to a fine white ring. Aroma of golden grain malt with wheat, some light banana esters, yeast and a touch of sugar bread. Taste is light bodied, with some flavors of light banana, wheat malt a hint of butter and some pear. Finish is slightly dry with a mild bitterness. An unique Hefe from all the other ones I’ve tried.

Draught at the brewpub
Muddy blond color. It has a breadish and spicy aroma; later some banana too. The flavor shows light cereals, bread, cookies, spices and banana; sweeter in the front and drier later. Quite good bitterness level for a Weizen. Imprecise, as Hefeweizen, but pleasant.

Cloudy dull amber colour. Light banana and malt aroma. Flavouris is mainly malty, with faint hints of banana, a touch of diacetyl and background wheaty tartness. Drinkable, but flawed and a tad bland.

Cloudy yellow in color with a yeasty citrus aroma. Sweet yeasty, citrus, banana flavours.

Hazy, gold white head.Lightly yeasty nose. Faintly yeasty flavor with a primarily sweet flavor. Good body for the style
