A nice (average) pale ale, and I prefer this one from the bottle to the times I’ve had it on tap. Serving it a bit "young’, maybe? However, it poured well, nice colour and nose, with an acceptable taste.

Skyview (4880) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - JAN 25, 2009
On draught at the Big River Brewpub south of Vancouver, BC. Pours a clear golden amber brew with a creamy white head that quickly dissipates and leaves behind a white ring and some spotty lacing. Aroma of golden grain malt, some light fruit, a hint of grassy hops and some egg white? Taste is medium bodied, some carbonation with flavors of golden grain malt, some grassy hops and a touch of citrus. Finish is slightly metallic with more malt aftertaste flavor than the ESB but not as bitter.

Draught at the brewpub
Deep blond color, creamy head. Light malt aroma. Some malt flavor, sweetish, turning into a deeper bitterness, nutty. Drinkable, a step beyond the Blond Ale.

(Draught) Sampled on November 23rd, 2006 at the brewpub. I liked this the least of the bunch I tried - it hardly tasted like a Pale Ale. Pours a foamy, medium white head and a low carbonated orange body. Nose is highly caramel malted with undertones of butterscotch. Astringent, bitter hops don’t meld well with the strong English malt. Was more like an Amber Ale to me.

Copper coloured beer. Light caramel nose, slightly earthy nose. Slightly musty flavour, a bit earthy but also a touch phenolic. Light fruitiness. Lingering bitterness. A decent effort.

Light amber colour with a small tan head. Aroma has some nice hops and some light fruit. Flavour is nice and hoppy but a little thin. A nice complement of sweet malts. A pretty decent pale ale.

This is a swan song beer for this company wither they know it or not. On opening, mild malt...nothing special one would think.pours a slightly darker then average gold, almost no head. On taste..Soo good, there is a taste of flavour that intertwines though out this beer experience that I can not put my finger on,but it is what makes this beer..otherwise it is a pleasant sweet malt and some mild hops...it must be the yeast! this overwhelming flavour carrys a rather thick and pleasant body to it.It sticks to your palate, but is not over bearing.
