Commercial Description:
Dark, Alberta stout is a hearty, full flavoured, rich, rewarding, soul-uplifting beer that's deeply satisfying. Made with dark roasted imported and domestic malts.

tap at Big Rock in Seoul - Pours dark brown, but not dark for a stout, with a thin light tan head. It smells and tastes mainly of the roast caramel malts along with some mild hops bitterness. It’s medium bodied and struck me as some kind of hybrid between an amber and a stout. Pretty good though.

bottle: This brew definately has many characteristics of a stout- dark, tan, head etc. However, it lacks the excitement that comes with watching a good stout cascade. Lots of caramel malts coming through in the flavouring. A little thin to be considered a true stout but a pleasant taste experience nonetheless.

It is ok for a stout but defniately not as good as a Guiness draft in a Dublin pub, but then again, what is? I think that this is a good beer if you like stout and happen to be in Big Rock at the time, but I much prefer their Grasshopper, Warthog, or their Traditional.

341ml bottle. <br /> Pours a dark brown with a creamy tan head. Aroma is a little bready with light fruity notes. Taste is similar with very feint notes of chocolate malts. Medium feel with a cloying texture. Not a good stout. Ok ale.

Bottle. Pours a dark mahogany body with a yellow-brown head. Smells nutty with rye bread - somewhat thin for what I look for in a stout. It’s actually quite thin in the flavour too - salty, nutty, and metallic. Not too good!
