Appearance: Blend of gold with copper bright contrasting white snow cap. Loose lace.
Nose: Nutty frontal aroma , slight of brown malt with earthy hops. Woody finish. 6+
Flavor/Palate : Mediun bodied. Hop blend of earthy nutty character. Light bodied for an Alt. slight citric feel on top. Ending was nutty as proper Alt should. Bit more body and assured malt base and perhaps hint of alcohol to round up ...
gearbike (385), West Bloomfield, Michigan, USA Nov 2, 2008 Nice basic brown color from tap. Malty but somehow still a bit thin. Nice nutty flavor but has a funky finish I can not place. No hop taste. Tmoney99 (3740), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Sep 1, 2008 Draft sample at MBGF Summer08 under name of Old Woodward. Poured hazy brown color with an average fizzy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate toasted malt aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Medium toasted balanced flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. I would recommend this to a freind. swoopjones (1240), Buffalo, New York, USA Aug 11, 2008 On tap @ Coles Buffalo NY. Pours a creamy darker am,ber with big pillowy head.
