Commercial Description:
Dark, rich and creamy describe this stout's character. Brewed with rolled oats, this beer is complex and smooth with roast, chocolate and caramel malt tones resulting in a pleasant, creamy fully flavored profile to satisfy any appetite.

Very dark color. Nice complex yet smooth yeasty/malty aroma. The thing that struck me most about this beer was its even taste. Must be the rolled oats. Had a chewy texture and some faint herbal notes that were intersparsed with malt. Fairly sweet as it warmed up, and left the palette not too sweet, but with not much other flavor.

This is a fancier place with incredible service and great, if pricey food. I was treated to a visit here for my wedding anniversary and mostly remember the cuisine and the nervous valet who parked our car. This is the one memorable brew, though - sweeter and thinner than I like my stouts, but enough roast to keep me interested, despite the amazing menu.

Nice chocolate undertones and a nice touch of sweetness. It was served up on a pleasant June evening and really hit the spot!
