Bottle @ FoneFan. Clear amber with small white head. Aroma is malt, vinegar, cherries and caramel. Flavour is malt, cherries, sour, marzipan, almond, fruit and a little vinegar.

Draft at the 2012 Michigan Brewerís Guild Winter Beer Festival, Grand Rapids. Like a liquefied, giant cherry Spree or Jolly Rancher, odd, not altogether unpleasant; tart and very sweet.

12oz bottle. Pours a thin, watery looking pink with almost no carbonation. Kinda looks like a rosť. Aroma of rubber cement, rubber bands, and wet cardboard. Donít know about this one. First sip is kinda shocking. Medicinal, astringent, and slightly acidic. Second sip is definitely better (although not much) once the palate shock wears off. Still slightly medicinal and metallic, more of the oak begins to come though with the cherry notes, which is subtle. Finish is kinda rude.

12oz bottle shared by mtjoesph, pours a blushing pinkish copper with no head. Aroma of sour tart cherries and slight oak. The taste, what a ride, not a good one. The second sip isnít as shocking but not any better. My palate lights up with sour cherry and chemical alcohol, the barrel comes through a little and more chemical, I think it just preserved my tongue for future generations.

Bottle from mtjoseph. Aggressive pour leads to basically no head. Murky red color that turns to pink and orange towards the edges. No. Fucking. Head. What the fuck is that in the aroma? Cherry vinegar and some cheap red wine. Taste is very bile like. It reminds me of what I would be vomiting after I drank a ton of Strawberry Hill Booneís Farm. Fucking nasty. Down the drain this one goes.

Shared by Chris at my tasting on May 29, 2010. Thanks! Review from notes. This beer appears a hazy, light brown color with an average-sized head and a small amount of lacing. Aromas consist of Belgian yeast, straw and/or hay. The sourness is not overpowering, but itís certainly present. There is a nice and pleasant cherry flavor which is well integrated into the overall taste profile. The mouthfeel is pretty good, with a slight alcoholic note in the finish. I enjoyed this brew and would happily drink it again.

In short: An oaky dry cherry fruity beer with a farmhouse twist. Very good.
How: Bottle 12oz. Consumed 6 months after receiving if from a few kids who are barely legal age to drink, thanks a lot kids
The look: Clear amber-red body topped by a pinky ring of foam
In long: Nose is moderate cherry, a bit musty/wet basement, barrels of some kind, farmhouse sensation. Taste is clean, refreshing, low-sweetness cherries, dry oak, light presence of tannins, citrusy notes, lemon juice, a tiny bit of funk, medium tartness, light acidity. Smooth carbonation with a juicy body. Finish is pleasantly dry and oaky. Overall I thought this was a rather straightforward refreshing fruit beer, even at 8.5%. Good stuff here. Yet another beer Iíd like to drink again and again. I already drink way too much and I have no desire to stop, Iíd like to drink even more, I think itís time for me to join Alcoholics Ambitious.

Thanks emacgee for sharing. Pours amber orange with a small white lace. Notes of plastic, lychee, a bit of berry fruitiness, chemicals, diacetyl. Gross.

Pours soft light copper with one finer of off white head. Nose is weird, chemically with some diacetyl . Rancid flavor, rotten cherry. Not my thing.
