A: The pour is a hazed light reddish-pink sort of color with a nice white head. S: Lots of tart and mildly sweet cherry aromas are immediately noticeable along with some lactic notes. Not much of the base tripel and maybe a touch of funk going on. T: The flavor is similarly rich in cherries, with a really strong tart cherry pie flavor. The lactic acidity is a bit more sharp here, and I enjoy that. Nicely sour, but a touch of sweetness as well. M: The body is medium with a nice carbonation to it. Despite a decent amount of sweetness from the cherries, this beer is pretty dry. D: A really nice beer that I would happily drink again. Got to love those sour cherries.

Bottle from Hoppymeal, thanks! Pink color, cloudy. Cherry and marzipan in the almost vinous aroma. Cherry and cherry pits in the alcoholic flavor. Thin. Strange beer, in which the cherry dominates. Nice beer, though..

12oz bottle (thanks Derek for this one). Aromas of cherries, funky, and woody. Tastes of tart cherries, funky, woody, and some vanilla. Lightly sweet with a nice tart and sour finish. I liked the funkiness in this. Alcohol content well hidden. I too would have put this one down as a sour. Cheers Peg and maybe I’ll get to know you one day...
