Styles (1653), Taylor, Michigan, USA Jun 8, 2005 Tap: light amber with decent white head. Aroma was mostly sweet malt with a hint of spiciness to it. Lots of sweet malt in the flavor with a little bitterness in the end. Hard to tell if the bitter is from hops or rye. 11026 (1886), USA May 8, 2005 Tap. Medium amber colored with a fair off-white head. Some lacing. General aroma of malt sweetness, some bits of hop and rye are there also. Medium bodied. Fairly malty with a bit of rye sharpness coming out in the middle. Interesting twist on a bock.
