thedm (3405), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Oct 30, 2006 This draft brew from a festival poured a small sized head of finely sized white colored bubbles that was fully diminished and left behind a slightly hazy softly carbonated straw yellow colored body. The weak aroma was floral. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at its acidic finish. The flavor was weak watery and acidic. A horrible one that I would not drink again. hotstuff (3019), Indiana, USA Sep 20, 2006 Draft. Small white head that quickly dissipated, no lacing, carbonation, and a pale yellow hue. Malty, sweet, spicy, some banana notes, and clove nose. Ditto for the flavor. Smooth palate and light body. Just so-so. gearbike (332), West Bloomfield, Michigan, USA Dec 20, 2005 Very light almost yellow. On tap at resturant. Bad combination of citrus and alcohol taste. A change of pace to save my palate and it did the trick. Pours a hazy straw hue with a small fizzy head. The aroma has notes of lemongrass, wheat, clove, orange peel, dusty esters, and a touch floral. The taste starts bitter and acidic with nice dose of lemon and orange followed by flowery and yeasty background. A underwhelming spice and woody finish, too short but still refreshing. Good brew and perfect for the moment, I would try it again. JMerritt (1100), Macomb, Illinois, USA Oct 5, 2004 GABF 2004. Light yellow, very hazy with a large, frothy white head. Excellent lacing. Average yeasty aroma, slightly musty, with banana and bubble gum characteristics typical of German wheats, though not too typical (from what I’ve experienced) of Belgian wheats. Very short-lived, lightly sweet flavor. Light body, slightly gritty, with average carbonation.
