3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 11/20
Kinda weird after a few sips, frothy, fermented very nicely, a lil too much hops for my liking

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Light copper colour, very little head, quickly fading and no lacing. Sweet candyish aroma, apples. Taste is sweet, malty and a little tangy. Boring but acceptable marzen.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle shared with northropfrye. Pleasant apple cider-ish aroma. Kind of crystal clear but flat appearance. Palate is a little too fizzy. Taste is sharp at first and then turns watery.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Not too bad. Nice aromas of corn syrup and biscuity malts. Flavors are all malt. Sweet and fairly decent. Not great... But not bad. Better than the usual Big Rock swill.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottled sample from the Big Rock rep. Caramel flavour. A bit of hops on the finish. Nothing spectacular but drinkable none the less

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
2 oz sample from Big Rock rep, taster 5.5%. Clear golden pour with a bubbly white head. Aroma has a hint of malty sweetness, and a strong grassy whiff. Medium carbonation. Bubbly, dry mouthfeel, medium-bodied. Light bitterness in the finish, quite smooth. Expected fuller body and a little darker colour in a Marzen, especially with all the oktoberfests that are killing on the AB craft market right now. Lame duck attempt from BR.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
341ml bottle pours a golden color with a quick dissipating finger and a half of white head that leaves very little lacing on the glass. Aroma is bready with some grass and light caramel. Taste is a sharp grassy and spicy hop bitterness with a grainy and caramel malty sweetness. Light to medium body with moderate carbonation. Similar to many Austrian beers I have tried, which do not tickle my fancy. Just not for me. Not recommended.
