1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pours a blond straw with a lite white head. Smells like an apple skin with hints of lemon. Light body. The pallet screams lager. Very crisp with not much going on.

Not much going on here. Compare this to a good wheat ale and you’ve got nothing, wheat doesn’t equal blandness.. look at Saskatchewan, after all! Oh... well, not much complexity here, just a muted honey taste mixed up with a smooth wheatiness. I shouldn’t have to use my tongue to lick my mouth’s walls to get rid of the aftertaste though.

Great summer beer. Golden in color. Has an almost caramel finish that stays with you.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: MAR 31, 2012 (Second Taste, Home, New 341mL Bottle, Lager Glass, 5% ABV, Chilled, 01/03/12. #11.)
Appearance (2/5): Very clear golden hue, with an unimpressive, diminishing white head.
Aroma (5/10): Light hops, orange and lemon, wheat with a hint of banana.
Taste (4/10): Very sweet, a little acidity. Just borders on sickeningly sweet banana. Clean finish. Not my favorite.
Palate (3/5): Light, soft carbonation, and a little watery, but not unpleasant.
Overall (10/20): A simple, clean, boring wheat beer. Would be rated a few points higher if it wasn’t for that sickening banana flavor. Otherwise, not too bad. There are better options though.
Drinkability: 5/5. Character: 2/5. Buy Again: Definitely No.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Originally rated September 2005. This wheat ale pours a golden colour with light carbonation. Its white head is decent, leaves lacing and has good retention. The aroma is mostly wheat, but quite mildly. Slight wheat at the beginning of the taste and finishes with a mild grain malt/corn mouth, into the aftertaste. Decent summer brew, but prefer the Upper Canada wheat instead.

Draft @ Korea location: Poured a clear yellow with a white head. Aroma is light hops and grain. Taste is crisp clean with little wheat affect, seems more grain and corn.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Single bottle from my uncle drank and rated on 12/25/2011. Finally rating this after years of drinking it. Colour: Light gold and yellow with minimal white head. Nose: rich grain in a blanket of light sugar frosting. White bread yeast. Faint hint of irish cream! Taste: Medium sweet, medium-light bitter, light sour. Sugary grains, vanilla frosting, bitter kick in late-middle and a dry grainy finish. Decent stuff.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz Bottle, purchased at an LCBO in Ottawa, Ontario. This is an ancient rate from memory, to get my Alberta tick. On my 21st birthday, my buddy and I bought at case of this and put most of it away before a Wilco show. Then, the next morning, as we had to drive back to Michigan, we finished off the last two bottles at 8:30 in the morning before hitting the road. I remember buying gas at a French-only gas station across the river and thinking about how it felt to have a light beer buzz in the morning and being in Quebec as the rain fell softly. There wasn’t much notable about the beer, it had a gentle wheatiness and the kind of drinkability that’s needed for a random Canadian road trip.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
341ml bottle from the LCBO. hazy yellow with an utterly disappointing white head. Extremely thin, light bodied wheat ale. There is nothing at all special about this. Highly generic. boring. Overall would not buy this again.
