341mL bottle poured a pale golden color with a small white head and spotted lacing. Aroma is light caramel and cereal. Taste is malty sweet with some caramel notes and a dry hoppy bitter finish. Light to medium body and moderate carbonation give this beer a decent mouthfeel. Overall, a wheat beer that is a little different than most.

Tasted at Bier Markt, Toronto on 10 July 2011. Filtered wheat beer on tap. Clear yellow color with small with foamy head, no discernible aroma, slight taste of hops, medium carbonation, abrupt finish. Not very distinctive.

Not sure about this overall - it seems fairly light but actually has a type of caramelized finished, the slightest hint that stays with you for a while.after

had a bit of hops and yeast to it which makes it a good tap offering when theres nothing but budweiser

Never had it without the accompanying lemon wedge so the aroma always has the strong citrus notes. Very clear golden-yellow color with a small head. Crisp refreshing taste. I agree with others that the lemon wedge helps make this an extremely enjoyable light tasting beer. If you’re in Alberta I would also recommend trying Lumberjack Lager brewed exclusively for Hudson’s Canadian Tap House by Big Rock Brewery. Comes a close second to Grasshopper in my opinion....

355ml can from ANBL, drank this a long time ago. High carbonation, sharp, citrusy taste. I did not find it pleasant to drink at the time.

Ooold review from 2006. Poured out a straw coloured brew, clear and crisp looking with a thin white cap. Mild aroma of grains, wheat, maybe lemon? The taste is ok with just enough wheat and grains and sweetness and lemon hints to keep you drinking at a high pace. Thin and gassy but it still works. Reliable.

Canned (thanks Rosenbergh!). Yellow colour, small head. Aroma is fruits, wheat, grass and some slight cardboardy notes along with some mild caramel notes. Flavour is quite similar with some slight citrusy notes as well.

Can 330ml (BB 11/2009)
Clear golden color, good white head. Citrus, orange peels, leather in the nose. Light to medium bodied. Citrus, some banana, light hops in the finish. Lingering citrusy notes in the aftertaste.
