3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
For the two weeks of summer in Calgary this is a refreshing drink. It has a nice aroma and a great taste. Add a twist of lemon to it and you have a boulder Canadian version of Corona.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a pale yellow colour, clear, with a small white head. Head is pretty tasty, but doesnít stick around too long, but luckily leaves some lacing behind. The aroma is a little hops but quite grainy. A little sweet and then fairly bitter towards the finish. Light-bodied, smooth mouthfeel, easy to drink.

2.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Wheat ale? Really? Iíd suggest its a corn ale. Ugh. I remember a cross country trip in the í90ís & thinking this was something. I was wrong. Itís not. Tastes like sweet corn water fermented on a sweaty guyís lush back hair. Itís sour without trying to be. Regret buying this. Donít regret that road trip. It was epic. Avoid this beer.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottled. Clear body, doesnít look like a wheat. The aroma is watery, the taste as well, but itís fresh. Taste like club soda.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Orange pour from draft at Rose & crown in Banff. White head. Wheat and grassy flavor. Not bad for the style.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Translucent gold with a quickly receding small white head. Mild aroma containing notes of yeast, malt, honey, and lemon. Light bodied, particularly for a wheat. Tastes akin to a macro wheat. Yeast, malt, honey, and a hop/citrus finish are present, but in a rather passive manner. Pleasant as a chug it back summer ale, but immensely lacking in complexity.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
341ml bottle. Pours a clear light to medium gold, with a small white head, which fades quickly and doesnít leave any lacing. The aroma offers some pleasant floral hops and a lick of wheat sweetness. The hops flavour up front is a little muted, although the floral notes are still present. The mid-palate has a little more body than I would expect from a wheat ale, but sadly isnít backed up by much flavour, just a fairly simple sweetness. Reasonable enough, and very sessionable, but not the most exciting beer around.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
355 ml can from a 12-pack sampler from Sobeys Liquor, served in a shaker pint glass. Pours a slightly orangey straw yellow with lots of very fine carbonation and a creamy white cap that crackles and vanishes with time to leave rings and islands of lace. Aroma is similar to many lagers, with unsweetened malty cereals, and hints of buttered corn that I truly dislike in the aroma and flavor of beer. (Actually, I donít know if my nose and tongue read this correctly as "corn"; it just might be some version of biscuity or cracker-like malt.) Flavor is practically identical to most light lagers, right down to a stronger presence of the confusing and distasteful corn/biscuit flavor, with what seems to be a hint of herbal hops. Thin, and with a dry finish. I wouldnít go out of my way for this. Although labeled as a Kristallweizen, itís indistinguishable from most adjunct lagers. So-so.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft - Light grain sweetness and a touch of corn. Clear light gold with. Decent white head. Sweet creamed sheet and a long sweet finish. A bit too sweet.
