For the two weeks of summer in Calgary this is a refreshing drink. It has a nice aroma and a great taste. Add a twist of lemon to it and you have a boulder Canadian version of Corona.

Fairly light beer overall - aroma, palate and taste. Leans towards the malty side of tate. Crisp. Would like to see some bigger wheat flavors. Nice quality beer, but lacking in overall effectiveness due to its light profile.

A sweet wheat beer with a lemon finish. Very likable in the summer sun, with friends, at work, under the table...

A pleasant, very drinkable beer. Perhaps a bit on the weak side. Very nice with food - if had on its own, there's not a lot going for it.

341ml brown bottle. Poured a rich gold. Large 2 finger head settled quickly. Lots of carbonation. Dryish wheaty notes to aroma. Medium body, toasted malt and wheat taste. Dry in the finish,

A clear, crisp, wheaty ale...with a strong wheat aroma. I tried this beer without the lime first...but found that the lime adds a slight bitterness that compiments the flavor of the wheat and hopps.

UPDATED: JUL 9, 2006 Here is what I said about this beer when I first rated it: "First of all, this doesn’t have any wheat beer character." I was wrong. In a head-to-head comparison with another local American wheat (Liplock by Nelson Brewery) it became evident that this is unquestionably a wheat beer, it’s just that American wheats are never as wheaty as their German counterparts (that took me some time to get used to I guess). Anyway, I’ve always liked it, probably as much for sentimental reasons as anything. Faint aroma of wet hair and mild estery wheatiness, with a wheaty fresh palate and a soft finish. A terrific summer beer.

341mL bottle poured a pale golden color with a small white head and spotted lacing. Aroma is light caramel and cereal. Taste is malty sweet with some caramel notes and a dry hoppy bitter finish. Light to medium body and moderate carbonation give this beer a decent mouthfeel. Overall, a wheat beer that is a little different than most.

Pours a pale yellow colour, clear, with a small white head. The aroma is a little hops but quite grainy. A little sweet and then fairly bitter towards the finish. Light-bodied, smooth mouthfeel, easy to drink. Overall an average beer but alright.
