KingofCastle (191), London, Ontario, Canada Nov 3, 2007 bottle: An old stand by for the summer or I want a light beer to drink with flavour. Not as good as Erdinger or Blue Moon (without the cheap Molson malts) but superior to Hoegaarden by far. Not alot to talk about here: thin puffy white head diminishing quicly, with golden colour. Right away you can tast high quality, sweetish malts which also come through on the finish. Some spicy notes but nothing crazy. This is a high average wheat ale, dont’ turn one down, especially on tap.
terrybail (212), London, Ontario, Canada Dec 13, 2008 341ml bottle from the LCBO
The aroma is slightly sweet honey and bread
Pours a very golden amber with a fast dissipitating white head
The taste is more like a pale lager then a wheat beer
Not very good
DerWeg (457), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Sep 9, 2008 Bottle at Rectory Cafe. Nice golden slightly hazy pour with dense moderate natural head. Smooth texture and quenching feel after a bike ride. AR soft yeast notes and sweetish wheat malt. FL like AR with hints citrus and pear. Good bar option. mbgrayson (66), Anaconda, Montana, USA Aug 29, 2008 Basic beer. Nothing very special. I got a couple cans as part of a Big Rock variety pack. Drinkable, mass market beer. Aubrey (2643), Denver, Colorado, USA Aug 29, 2008 Draft in Waterton Lakes: Golden hue with a nice head (looked good in the dimpled mug). Light and clean tasting and feeling. Fairly refreshing. Light malted caramel with subtle honey. Very light bitterness. Nothing too special, but surely drinkable.
