Slacks (355), Bolton, Ontario, Canada Aug 20, 2006 355ml Bottle: Fans of weisse will be disappointed here, there’s none of that to be found. It’s a filtered beer with only hints of weisse to be found. Aroma is awful, just horrible. Not sure why or what causes it but I wish to never smell it again. Pour was decent with a little fluffy white head, golden colour, small streams of carbonation. Flavour is very simple ale with light hints of yeast and citrus, fair amount of hops. Average.
mbgrayson (47), Anaconda, Montana, USA Aug 29, 2008 Basic beer. Nothing very special. I got a couple cans as part of a Big Rock variety pack. Drinkable, mass market beer. Aubrey (2592), Denver, Colorado, USA Aug 29, 2008 Draft in Waterton Lakes: Golden hue with a nice head (looked good in the dimpled mug). Light and clean tasting and feeling. Fairly refreshing. Light malted caramel with subtle honey. Very light bitterness. Nothing too special, but surely drinkable. JF_GRIND (1210), Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 19, 2008 Average wheat ale with citrus, wheat and crisp finish. A patron dropped off a 12-pack from a recent trip to Canada at the bar I work at and was able to try a bottle. fiulijn (5860), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Aug 5, 2008 Draught at Ship and Anchor, Calgary Blond color. Very common Lager, balanced but anonymous. LordBeamish (135), Boozetown, Ontario, Canada Jul 19, 2008 bottle: One of my favourites in the summertime. Light tasting, yet flavourful. Not on par with more flavourful wheats such as Erdinger but superior to many. Light coloured with quickly dissapating white head. A definite coifer. The high quality malts and wheat make for a perfect summer thirst quencher.
