2.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 KansaiBeerLvrs (229) - Kyoto, JAPAN - MAY 5, 2013
On tap at Big Rock in Seoul. A nice amber color which is just right for a Honey Brown with a beige head. No real aroma (served too cold?). The flavor was malt caramel with possibly a hint of honey but kind of grassy which it shouldn’t be, maybe they cut it with adjuncts or pilsner malt? Pretty bland.
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 simonblaine (99) - Alberta, CANADA - JAN 6, 2013
Bland, boring + watery. Pours light brown with a minimal head. Hints of caramel and the stale beer smell that comes from a load of empty bottles after a get together in your house with you friends. Uninspired, unmotivated, forgettable.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Reimer96 (587) - Alberta, CANADA - NOV 20, 2012
Pours a clear brown with a very small head and a tiny ring. Aroma is a sweet wort smell with almost a bit of sourness. Taste is sweet honey and some fruityness on the finish. Good session lager.

Amber colour. Faint aroma. Some sweet malts in the taste, but really quite subdued. Refreshing but dull.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 pintbypint (1973) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 6, 2012
Pint at Sherwood Park location. Amber colour, a few white bubbles on the surface. Light aroma in general, just some faint grains and a bit of vague sweetness. Taste has big grainy bite up font, Tiny suggestion of chocolatey malt, light hops. Finish is dry, grainy. Light body, big carbonation. Standard issue honey brown, pretty much what I expected. On sale for 5$.
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 cards04 (819) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - JUN 3, 2012
Pours a nutty brown with creamy white head. Not much in the way of aromas...some grains maybe. A bit of sweetness. Grainy flavours. Disappointing.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 SHIG (3043) - Anchorage, Alaska, USA - DEC 30, 2011
Draft @ Korea location: Poured a orange coppery color with a off white head. Aroma is sweet with honey. Taste was similar with sweet honey, yet has a soft malt and grit that most find with lagers.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 reebtogi (3259) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 22, 2011
341mL bottle poured light brown with small white head and no lacing. Light aromas of caramel and not much else. Taste is sweet malt and honey with a very light hop in the finish. Not enough balance in this beer, but otherwise ok.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 solidfunk (1786) - Ontario, CANADA - AUG 15, 2011
Another Canadian honey brown that tastes like most of the honey browns without having a strong taste of anything really. Basically like Trad again, but slightly different.
2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 gramity (1054) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 18, 2011
Poured from bottle. Standard locking beer with just below average quality head. The aroma is sweet and malty.
The taste is also sweet and malty with honey being a bit overpowering for me. I couldn’t enjoy more than one of these. Something seems a bit off with this beer but I can’t say exactly what.
I found the mouthfeel kind of sticky and unpleasant.
