patrick767 (1396), fort wayne, Indiana, USA Jun 22, 2008 tap at Big Rock in Seoul - Pours amber with a thin head. The aroma is of honey with a trace of malt. It has a sweet honey flavor and not much else. Sub par.
MrManning (1429), London, Ontario, Canada Apr 22, 2008 Bottle-Nose of grains, hay, pale malts and maple syrup? Weird. Pours a deep amber topped with a thin off-white head. Taste is sweet, sweet grains and caramel malts, and I am getting this maple syrup flavour that matches the same in the nose.....almost like demererra. Sweet, fizzy, sweet, sweet, sweet. Ouch. A very drinkable beer. It smelled great, tasted great, looked great. I loved it. No funny aftertastes, just some great flavors. Rich and full bodied. Goes down real smooth. I would definately reccomend this beer. Geth_in_beer (663), Nova Scotia, Canada Oct 26, 2007 Bottle of. Sweet honey aroma. Brown copper in appearance. No head, slight lace. Sweet honey texture. Little thin. Not much flavour going on just sweet ale. Very disappointing ale. dkazuk (224), winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Oct 19, 2007 355ml can.
Pours an amber honey red with a foamy head that leaves decent lacing. Smells of hops and alcohol with a small bit of honey that I found hard to pick up on. Tastes somewhat like oak and something unpleasant. No honey taste. Bare finish. First time I tried this beer I loved it. This time it’s terrible.
