Signature Series
Pale in Colour, Not Flavour
If hoppy makes you happy, this Pacific Northwest-style IPA is your beer. We brew it with two kinds of delicious Yakima Valley Cascade hops, in such a way as to deliver the maximum heavenly hoppiness to your tastebuds, with the minimum bitterness.

Little Known Fact
The Cascade was the first North American-made aroma hop and the first hop variety from the USDA’s hop research program to be approved for sale since prohibition. It’s aroma is now one of the hallmarks of North American craft beer.

Average for a IPA, not enough floral, not enough fruity or hoppy bitter. Pours a straw color, medium head, stingy on the palate and finish, but ok.

Pours cloudy burnt orange with a thin short lived off white head. Citrus and hops aroma. A lot of citrus fruit in the taste with some hops, malts and a bitter/sour finish. Drinkable but could use a better balance between citrus and hops.

Amber pour with decent white head. Nose of roasted malt with touch of hops. Flavor is more malt up front with just a touch of citrus.

473ml can. Light toffee aroma. Pours copper in colour with a decent frothy white head. Miimal carbonation. Flavours are toffee and biscuits with a low to medium level of hoppiness. Medium bodied. Mild bitter finish. OK.

Bottle labelled as "session" IPA. same diff. Very thin antique white head with a dark lager body. Vague hops aroma with slight detergent. Flavour is an odd harshness of malt and sour hops finish. Really bitter aftertaste. An odd one to be sure, can’t say I like this mix, far too sour even for an IPA.

473 ml can from the beer store. Orange with a white head. Nice caramel male and c hop aroma. Classic sticky ipa. Old school but not bad. I’m a sucker for beer like this, I feel like its 2004.

ENG: 473ml can from Liquor Mart in Winnipeg, poured into the tulip. Clean, dark-golden color with small tan head. Very shallow aromas, hard to say, maybe some citrus, but mostly malty and a bit soury. Tastes malty, soury, no hops, boring. No bitterness. Feels like a lager. Watery, medium carbonation.

PL: Puszka 473ml z Liquor Mart w Winnipeg, przelane do kieliszka. Brak goryczki. Przypomina lagery. Wodniste, średnie nasycenie.

Can: Pours hazy copper-brown with a small white head. Orange, slightly tropical fruit scent. Orange malt, orange-peel bitter, light caramel malt taste. A little earthy. Not bad, but pretty plain.
