Commercial Description:
At only 2 grams of carbs, Jack Rabbit has the lowest carb count of all the low carb beers currently available in Canada. A proprietary brewing process using Alberta's best 2-row barley malt significantly reduces the amount of complex sugar and other carbohydrates remaining in the beer.

Bilious green-yellow colour with large artificial bubbles. It actually smells like vomit. I only wish I was making that up. Taste is bland. I might taste a hint of malt but certainly there are no hops. This is because hop are loaded with carbs. They must be, since there are no hops in any low-carb beer I’ve ever had. In summation: Wow. This beer really blows.

Very pale straw colour. White head. Had a skunky taste and metallic finish that was quite offensive. Like dirty carbonated water. This was the worst of the low carb beers I tasted.

Very pale yellow in colour with a resilient white head. Faint malt and corn adjunct aroma. In mouth, light corny sweetness closer to mineral water, like most of these babies. Bought in Halifax, at Vin-Art.

Can (355ml). Shared with blankboy, GregClow, jerc, tupalev - courtesy of jerc. Poured pale flat yellow, no head. Aroma of watery fusel urine - nasty but mild. Taste is mild, foul, grainy, sweet, harsh - mouthfeel watery. Just foul.

(Can) Found at the Travel Lodge Liquor Store on the north-end on Circle Drive. Pours a medium, quick-dissipating white head and a light golden body. High carbonation. Nose of corn. Thin flavours and nothing stands out. Boring... as expected.
