COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Single malt lager, made from pure glacial water, choice hops and our own lager yeast. Brewed without preservatives, additives or adjuncts. The result is an unusually clean, crisp beer with no bitter taste.

Can: Fizzy yellow, sweet aroma. Well it doesn’t smell like corn. That is about the only thing that it has going for it. Oh yeah, it isn’t overly carbonated either.

Not a great beer, tastes like a very basic beer with little hops, it didn’t seem pale to me.

Someone brought a can of Kold to the RBSG ’04, and as many needed Alberta, it was a big draw. Unfortunately, it was also not a good beer. Glowing yellow color with a fizzy white head and a nose that reminded me of cold baked beans. Flavor was very thin, with some canned corn/vegetable tastes. It would have been better colder.

RBSG 04, the true highlight of the night. Pours a piss yellow, which i will give a 2 because it actually has color. Aroma of baked beans? that was the final verdict. Having no taste i will give a 3, because it was much better than having the taste follow up the bean aroma, that would have been awful. I will give it a 5 overall due to its bean like quality, which may have taken a ton of effort to achieve.

I have never drank a worse beer. The only positive thing I can say about it is that it is very easy to chug!

Can. I’d like to point out that I brought five beers to the RBSG2004: Westy-8 (top 10), Great Divide Hercules (top 50), Anchor OSA 1998 vintage, Anchor OSA 2000 vintage, and a can of THIS. I saw it for 99 cents at a bottle store and decided to bring it just for fun. God knows how old it was, and it turns out that I needed Alberta for my collection anyway, so bonus. Anyway, back to my story. There was so much beer at the RBSG that not all of it was drank, and only two of mine got consumed. THIS WAS ONE OF THEM!! The description on the can said "Genuine glacier water lager". At least I could get a rating out of it without ruining my palate, since it was just water. No head. No aroma. No flavor...just nothing!

Can (thanks Ace): Light yellow color. Dishwater nose. Watery mouthfeel. Light flavors of beets and overcooked vegetables. I’ll be on the lookout for a fresher sample, but things don’t look too good as of now.

This stuff is just wrong. Baked bean aroma and flavor. Does not seem fresh in the slightest.
