COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
All winter, Ed McNally nurtures the lime tree in his greenhouse. It reminds him that, every year, for a few short but glorious months, Alberta gets tropical. With so many options (and such a short patio season) Big Rock is proud to offer a fresh, premium light lager that has just a hint of lime. This is the perfect pairing to the flood of summer activities that Canadians will embrace; Big Rock Lime Lager will be the beer of choice for golfers, campers, patio lovers - anyone who is looking for a refreshing crisp beer with lighter alcohol content

This mess poured a clear yellow colour with a non-existant, white head. Scents include wood and a dark, damp basement. First sip was absolute water with a very weak lime flavou and butter. Finish is nothing but that weird buttery lime flavour.

Bottle. Old rating from back when lime beers were all the rage. Pale clear yellow pour with a few white bubbles. Fairly crisp grainy taste with a fair bit of lime. Light and gimmicky.

341 ml bottle. Pours a clear pale yellow with a thin white head. Faint aroma of lime and malt. Mild flavour of malt, grain and lime. Light body, thin, watery texture and soft carbonation. Disappointing.

Pours a very pale yellow with a frothy white head. Aroma of lime, light pale malts and some fruity esthers. Taste is lime, weak pale malts and watery fruitiness. Overall this beer could be alot better with more body bit it’s too light.

Clear pale yellow pour with no head. Aroma of grain, hay, slight lime. Taste of watered down grainy, corn, slight malt and a faint hint of lime. Wow is this bad, another fail from Big Rock. Yuck!

Lagerboy (1321) - British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 29, 2013
Clear pale citrus yellow, white foamy head fades fast. Aroma of limey lager malt. Crisp clean light lime lager taste. Average carbonation, light bodied, low hopped. Refreshing and inoffensive, certainly preferable to the alternatives. LF (Lagerboy Friendly)

The best out of the Lime beers. Very faint lime taste, still taste like beer unlike the other beer lime coolers. Very enjoyable on the hot days.

Pretty dreadful. Bland watery flavour with only a faint bit of lime. A bad beer all around.
