does not count fabric8r99 (7), Bozeman, Montana, USA Mar 20, 2002 Wonderful brew! I first sampled this beer while dining in Waterton Park just north of Glacier National Park and remember it as much as the beautiful scenery. I fell in love with it and visited several stores until I found some to bring home. It is a lot better on tap (aren’t they all) and the bottled brews were much more tart and bitting than the smooth draft. So if you are in Canada, and find it on tap, Enjoy!!
Cletus (3614), Connecticut, USA Oct 29, 2008 Bottle courtesy of mgermani. Pours brpown with a thin white head. Smells of roses, juniper, caramel. Tastes resiny with some peppery splashes and a sweet finish. mabel (1748), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 6, 2008 [1380-20080523] Tap. Aroma is faint grains and a slash of alcohol. Clear, amber brown body with a long-lasting creamy off-white head. Super boozy sweet malt flavour has heavy grains. Medium body. Interesting but boozy.

It smells and tastes of sweet caramel malt and some light hops. There’s a light to medium body and while uncomplicated, it’s decent. shintriad (698), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jun 1, 2008 Flat body, orangey amber with slight carb and a tiny head. Strong toffee malts in nose, overwhelming notes of amaretto. Very nutty and burnt flavours. Smooth with just enough carbonation to move it along. Nice alcohol bitterness in the finish. Wish I could get it regularly! Radek Kliber (3433), Toronto, Ontario, Canada May 26, 2008 Bottle at C’est What?
