2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
pours clear beer bottle brown with a small quickly dissipating head, no retention, a few streams, largish bubbles. Sweet malts with cinnamon and nutmeg on the nose.
Attack: 7/10-sweetness, caramel
Mid-palate: cola, cinnamon, hints of ginger, caramel, root beer, and malts
Finish: mostly clean, slightly fizzy, very light malty bitter, just a touch of roughness on the palate.
A very nice and clean brew - nothing spectacular but easy-going and very drinkable.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
341 ml bottle from Big Rock ’Pauls Angels’ Bremasters Seasonal Choice six pack. Clear orange copper, thin tan head vanishes instantly. Caramel malt aroma. Spiced caramel malt taste, baking spices, vanilla and some clove masks a light bitterness. Softly carbed, light bodied, low hopped. Short spicy sweet finish. LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary)

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a clear light amber with a small off white head. Aroma of pale malts, caramel, nutmeg and spices. Taste is malty with some spices in it. Over all just a malty winter ale that needs more spice.

One of my favorite beers for the winter. Have a pint on a cold winters day and you won’t be disappointed.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
***Old Rating*** One finger bubbly off white head which soon diminished to a ring. No lacing to speak of. A clear dark amber.
Spicy mild sweet smells. Spice up front in the taste, over a mils malt base. Finishes again with the spice. Cinnamon, clove and nutmeg.
Medium body. Fairly low carbonation. Sweetish. Overall fairly pleasant.

bottle. Poured clear red-amber with an initial large off-white head but recedes. The aroma is sweet, brown sugar and allspice. Lighter mouthfeel than expected. Flavour of gingerbread cookie, bready caramel malt. Quick finish.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
A red copper ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, sweet caramel overlayed with cinnamon hearts. In mouth, a smooth nutty malt, torrefied, with sweetish cinnamon, cloying in the end. Bottle via probstk, thank Karl.
