Amber ale with a thin white head. It is rather sweet but enjoyable. I plan to pick this one up again.

Deep reddish amber ale with a thin off white head. Light aroma of roasted malts, and nuts. In mouth, the same roasted malted grains with light caramel, and rather light body. Quaffable. Bought in singles bin at LCBO. 1.50$.

I want to like this beer. It tries so hard.Big Rock of Canada meant well. But, this beer doesnt quite deliver. Drinking it, it reminds me of Newcastle Brown or a cheap weak British bitter, but with alot of water added. I keep slurping it, aeriating the beer, rolling it around on my tounge to try to extract some depth from it, only for any flavour to be cruelly snatched away before I can tell what it actually tastes of. Every time trying to actually register the fleeting flavour before it fades. Its almost as if theres a good beer in there, but its somehow imprisoned by Big Rocks incompentent brewing. Mind you, if everyone drank this instead of Coors/Bud etc, they would get an inkling of what real beer tastes like.

This is a simple well balanced beer that will make you happy. I have loved this brewery and beer for 10+ years and wish I could get it in NY!!!!

An old favourite for many years. A simple amber ale, nutty, caramelly, and sweet. It is nothing special, but I like it a lot anyway.

This beer is nearly intoxicating with the sweet flavor. Usually that kind of thing would really interest me but because there didn’t seem to be the quality time invested in this beer it was less pleasent than I had hoped. Not my favorite, but still overall not a bad brew.

A good everyday beer is a nice way to describe this one. A bit heavy for me though. Had it with Indian food, and wanted to sleep all afternoon.
