Commercial Description:
Noted for the smooth and mellow balance between malt and hops, its dark copper color flashes garnet when held to the light.

Decent session type ale attempt. Dark amber colour, but little of the expected bitterness to with it. Not bad, but you just expect a little more.

Caramel in colour. Aroma was of mild hops and malts, some caramel sweetness. Flavour was slightly sweet, malty, smooth and creamy. Finishes with a very mild bitterness. Refreshing.

On tap - Biermarkt Toronto. Oh dear I did make bad choices here. This is to me a very poor attempt at an English ale. Very bland and also very cold. Won't be seeing this one again.

Caramel and malts overtake the faint hops that might exist in this light bodied coppery beer. Thin and unobtrusive basic ale.

On tap at the Winking Judge in Hamilton, Ontario. Pours a dark copper/redish body with a this, almost non-existant head. Sweet, hoppy, fragrant aromas that immediately draw you in. Taste is a little weak though. Hops, anbd some sweetness, but it is a tad watery. Overall decent in any event.

A nice copper coloured ale with a good amount of carbonation. I tend to think of this one as a kind of "suped-up" Labatt 50. Well balanced hop and bready-malt flavor, and the carbonation makes it quite refreshing. Tastes quite fresh, even though it came out of a bottle. A bit watery, but still a good everyday beer.

This beer pours a clear reddish copper and has a nice white creamy head. Scents are of caramel and malts. The initial taste consisted of sugar, caramel and medium roasted malts. The flavour finish is of a slightly sweet/bitter taste and a smooth malty palate. One of my favs from Big Rock!

Pourred an amber brew with a medium head. Overall, this is your middle of the road. pretty standard tradional ale. Nothing bad but nothing out of the ordinary. This is your average everyday beer but in no way can it be considered a session brew.
