patrick767 (2016), fort wayne, Indiana, USA Jun 22, 2008 tap at Big Rock in Seoul - Pours amber with a very thin white head. It has a nutty caramel malt aroma. The flavor is mostly of lightly toasted malt with some mild hops. It’s medium bodied and pretty enjoyable. hiphop (84), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jun 16, 2008 This was one of my first in my quest to drink all that the LCBO had to offer that was out of my ordinary. It was alright. I rate it because I am trying to keep count, over time. Fogive me. patricks110 (276), Alberta, Canada May 7, 2008 Dark amber pour. Nutty and dirty aroma. Mild hops and nutty flavour. Slightly unpleassant aftertaste. The run of the mill Calgarian micro ale. JesseM (661), Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada Feb 25, 2008 Updated: Jan 4, 2009341ml bottle. Pours an amber colour with a small white surface film. Aroma: Nuttiness, maybe too much of it, or maybe I’m not huge into nuttiness. Taste: Better than I thought it would be, ok malts followed by tin, followed by caramel and then a nutty flavour that I tend to hate in beers. Weird and unpleasant alcoholic flavour is way too evident. At least I only had to pay $2.00 for this one bottle. Really unremarkable, sorry. glennmastrange (809), hobe sound, Florida, USA Jan 25, 2008 Can. Malts smelled of moderate cookie and nutty, hops of light grass, light dough for the yeast, and toffee and a faint hint of red wine. Head was frothy/fizzy, off-white, with virtually no lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color was sparkling clear brown. Flavor starts moderately acidic and the short finishes is lightly acidic and bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery with a slight creaminess to it, and the carbonation was a little too fizzy. It finishes metalic and lightly astringent. Nice aroma but not much to the flavor, and the can left it’s mark on the finish mullet2007 (198), St. Johns, Newfoundland, Canada Dec 20, 2007 Pours a deep red too amber color with a nice offwhite head that doesn’t last too long. Aroma is slighty hoppy and has a nice malty backing, very pleasant. Flavor is very much citrus or grapefruit hops, with a detectable malt backing. Very low carbonation, but not too thin. A nice beer. matt7215 (943), Cambridge, Ontario, Canada Dec 19, 2007 341 ml bottle. pours amber with a small white head. toasty roasted malt aromas with some fruitiness as well. flavours are palatable but a little mudled. everything starts off sweet but then there is a very weird dry finish. overall this was ok. grasshopper19 (6), Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada does not count Dec 3, 2007 Purchased a 6 pack in Halifax. Only purchased this beer because there was Grasshopper was sold out. I was not dissapointed - full flavored and delicious - very impressed with big rock.
