Gethinbeer (995), Nova Scotia, Canada Oct 22, 2007 Bottle. Aroma of malt and fruit. Deep amber appearance with a thin to non existent head. Flavour of malt, bitter hops and honey, quite sweet. Leaves a syrupy texture, but of a dull flat ale. furballman (25), Seoul, South Korea Oct 21, 2007 It’s a pretty good beer, but big rock makes some better ones, in my opinion. I prefer grasshopper or warthog, myself. But this is not a bad beer for a switch from either of those once in a while if you are a big rock fan. dkazuk (247), winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Oct 19, 2007 355ml can.
Pours a clear dark hazelnut colour with a clinging tan head. Smells of citrusy hops and . Mouth feel is very lightly carbonated, and oily. Taste is nutty roasty. Full of malts and some toffee. Finishes off sweet and smooth with a barely there bitter. Not too bad at all. Only problem is the aroma doesn’t seem to match the taste.
JRHBrew (217), Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada Oct 5, 2007 This beer is all over the place. I can’t figure out what is wrong with it. It has many good attributes but falls short. It is almost great but has troubles that condemn it to mediocrity. tomthompson89 (1459), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Sep 30, 2007 reddish brown color some decent foam malt nose flavor is kinda nutty with some decent malts not much hops some caremel, decent but not great sinkhole (176), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Sep 5, 2007 Poured brown-amber with average head and carbonation. Sweet malts and caramels are offset with a slight bitter hop finish. A nice selection but not outstanding. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 04/02/1998
