Oakes (7032), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Dec 29, 2000 The yeast that Big Rock uses has a dominating character, and you get the impression that they use the same malts and same hops for all their beers. In others words, if you’ve had one, you’ve had them all. kp (6300), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 04/02/1998
argo0 (6289), Washington DC, USA Jul 22, 2002 Brown red filtered. Nice malty aroma. Malty with English hops in a supporting role. Mediocre, but certainly palatable. fiulijn (6010), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Aug 5, 2008 2008-07-27, draught at Ship & Anchor, Calgary, 5-3-5-2-9=24
Amber color. Very simple Ale, very light toffee aroma, caramel flavor, not much more to write about.

2008-07-22, can, 4-3-5-2-10=24
Amber color; poor head. Very light aroma. Medium bodied, with some caramel flavor and correct biterness. Drinkable, but too simple. harrisoni (5474), Ashford, Kent, England Oct 15, 2006 On tap at The Railway Club, Vancouver. Amber, thin beige head. Quite nice fruit on aroma. Closest thing to an English beer so far on this trip. Slight yeast, good malt, like a British best bitter on the aroma. Some caramel. Malty fruit in mouth is very pleasant.Hopevidenced on end balances the malt well. I like it. Uncomplicated bitter.
