Enough hops in the finish for you to notice them, but not enough to get very excited about. An average session ale. mgermani (871), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 30, 2007 Pours a medium amber-brown with a short-lived soap-sud head and a light aroma of sweet malt & hops. Tastes pleasantly hoppy, but with a sweet crystal malt backbone that overpowers the hops easily. Decently chewy body, very drinkable and better than most draught swill. wilderthanyou (423), Guelph, Ontario, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 2, 2007 Pours a clear amber color with no head. The aroma is a strong malt smell, pleasant. Flavor is light caramel at start, strong malts in the middle, and very very mild hops at the end. Not balanced, but still very enjoyable. The carbonation is decent, but it doesn’t prevent the texture from being a little watery. Still a decent beer. JesseM (681), Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 25, 2008 Updated: Nov 29, 2009341ml bottle. Pours an amber colour with a small white surface film. Aroma: Nuttiness, maybe too much of it, or maybe I’m not huge into nuttiness. Taste: Better than I thought it would be, ok malts followed by tin, followed by caramel and then a nutty flavour that I tend to hate in beers. Weird and unpleasant alcoholic flavour is way too evident. At least I only had to pay $2.00 for this one bottle. Really unremarkable, sorry. EDIT: Much better on tap, malts really shine through. Surpris . Smells of caramel, apples and spice. Tastes of caramel, apples, a touch of spice, and that’s about it. Watery feel, pleasant but nothing great. Savvy1982 (331), Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada

Nose is crystal malt, sweetness, toffee, mild hops. Palate is soft, sweet, and fruity, with mild hops and decent maltiness. Not my favorite beer, but it’s okay, especially when its on tap.
