COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lighter, copper colored version of Traditional has a nutty finish reminiscent of fine English brown ale.

UPDATED: APR 2, 2004 Still not sure why they changed the name to Cream Ale. Tastes the same. A more complex taste than its brother Traditional Ale from Big Rock. Still not as complex as the more famous members of the Brown Ale family. Another better than average beer from Big Rock.

Small creamy head atop a nice copper colored brew. Smells of fruit, hard candy. Slight hoppy bit to it around the tongue. Bit of malty sweetness, caramel flavors, perhaps. This is a beer that has absolutely no flavor when it’s too cold. Definately have to let this one warm up a bit.

Distinct nutty finish. Great looking bottle. Kind of like an American Standard with a little extra.

Sweet sugar aroma, copper colour, creamy vanilla head. Very mild malt flavour, good balance of bitterness. Quite smooth, a nice ale.

A decent brew, had this one in deep cove for the first time, I’ liked it. Nothing out of the ordinary

Not a lot going on here, fairly bland and a touch watery. If you are going to drink a bland mediocre beer, you can find one that costs less.

Pretty crappy taste. I like brown ales done well, but this one was not. Had a 12 on a fishing trip in canada, and was not too impressed. Sleeman’s is a better, though less interesting choice.

Farily bland, but decent smooth malty and perfumey.

Pale nut brown. Light bodied, sweet, hint of late bitterness. OK as a session beer.

Nothing there and a wee bit of something nasty. Thin. Are there macro adjuncts here?
