COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lighter, copper colored version of Traditional has a nutty finish reminiscent of fine English brown ale.

This is hoppier than trad, but otherwise indistinguishable. Decent, but not a whole lot more.

UPDATED: JUL 27, 2011 Bottle. Another attempt by Big Rock to immitate others and another mediocre entry.

Clear copper colour with a bubbly frothy white head. Next to no aroma. Clean crisp texture with very little flavour. Blah.

Years ago when I was first becoming interested in craft beers, I would buy this. Since, my taste has grown towards richer and fuller flavored beers. I use to love this beer. Its not satisfying anymore. Lite malty nose with weak flavors. I noticed some butterscotch flavors, mild sweet, smooth and pleasurable. But its not for me anymore.

***Old rating*** This pint appears a clear medium amber colour, with a finger or so of soapy white head, which leaves some spotty lace as it recedes. It smells of bready malt, and mild earthy hops. The taste is more of the breadiness, sweet in the Big Rock manner, and some very tame floral hops. The carbonation is quite soft, the body smooth and light, and it finishes off-dry, some light caramel malt lingering.

12oz bottle from mixed 12 pack. Pours a medium amber brown with small white head. Mild yeasty and fragrant floral hoppy aroma. Soft mild smooth body. Mild bready malt and light bitter flavours. Finish is really quite underwhelming. A tad thin overall.

Pours dark copper in colour, with off white head. Nice malty aroma and flavour, very thin mouthfeel.

Smells like an amber Ale, relatively smooth, tastes like a wellington amber ale
