Can, pours a light copper. Aroma of caramel, malt and wheat. Flavour is much the same - pretty standard beer. Drinkable.

On tap at Pogue Mahone’s in Toronto. Served in a tulip. Appearance is clear amber with a thin, white head. Poor head retention and no lace. Aromas of caramel malt, along with straw and herbal hops and some yeast. Flavour is moderately sweet throughout, developing a soft hop bitterness towards the end. Body is light-medium with a watery texture and soft carbonation. A disappointing brew. While it’s light in body, it’s not all that refreshing. It tastes like a diluted version of Big Rock Traditional Ale and lacks the character of that ale. 2010-03-05

can. Pours clear amber-brown with a medium creamy off-white head. The aroma is grainy. Mouthfeel has a little less texture than expected, light-medium body with average carbonation . Flavours of sweet malt and nuttiness. Finish is crisp and a hint bitter.

355 ml can from Beer Store. Pours a clear gold with small white head. Simple, inoffensive caramel malt nose. Caramel malt and light sweet fruit in taste. Light-medium body. Simple but ok.

Pours a copper colour. Aroma is caramel and malt. Taste is a pleasant mix of caramel, toffee and malt. Not a remarkable beer but an easy drinking enjoyable beer.

Can on a trip to Canada . . . okay flavor, very light and somewhat weak. The color is good, and there are some good caramel malt flavors, just not much else. Cans are never a good thing but it wasn’t horrible.
