Bottled. Poured a clear medium golden with a tall cap of thick-ish white head. Nose was muted by a nitrous-type aire... sweet caramel, herbs, very mild pine, and citrus come through with some coaxing. Mild sweet caramel and toffee base for the flavor... surrounded by sweet herbal and pine bitterness. A hint of citrus was found at the finish. Lighter-bodied. Fairly smooth, but a tad spritzy at the finish. Tasty brew.

Eventhough and english style ale, I enjoy the ’Trad’ a bit better. This is very drinkable but seems to fall a bit short compared to his brother.

Copper brown, caramel aroma. Not much to set this apart from its "Honey Brown" counterpart, just not quite as sweet.

[Bottle]
Nice light golden copper color. Good creamy flavor with a nice malt to hops balance. Had this on a camping trip and was very nice to drink. The head was light to none and I really did not feel this beer had a good flavor for a cream ale. Good beer flavor but not a style beer.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 GregClow (2645) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 18, 2006
Bottle at The Rhino. Is this really considered a brown ale? Huh. Clear amber with a small white head. Aroma of earthy malt, not bad. Thinnish body. Flavour is mild and slightly fruity, with mellow roasted malt in the middle and a moderately bitter finish. A fairly middle of the road ale - certainly nothing wrong with it, but not something I’d go out of my way to have again.
2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 gilvanblight (544) - Windsor, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 1, 2006
Thin head over an amber brown pour. Odd nose, like vegitables, carrots. Fiarly plain with high carbonation. Really not much flavour here. Bitter aftertaste rises quickly and lingers. I used to thing this was good stuff before I got into much better beer.

Bottle. Clear amber body with average carbonation and diminishing off-white frothy head. Fair malty aroma with bready notes. Taste is mild and, as for the aroma, lacks hoppiness. Finish is short and discreet. Not bad, but not exciting.
