Pale nut brown. Light bodied, sweet, hint of late bitterness. OK as a session beer.

This one was like Guinness for me - the more beers I tried, the less I liked this one.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 fiulijn (10000) - Como, ITALY - AUG 5, 2008
Draught at Ship and Anchor, Calgary Light amber color. Light and dry caramel flavor. Correctly bitter. Too simple and boring.

I don't know if I got a bad bottle or what, but I didn't find very much worthwhile in this one. Looks average enough, with a moderate off-white head that quickly faded away and a nice light copper colour. I got very little aroma whatsoever, maybe something resembling cardboard. Tasted... well wet at least. Maybe a bit of sweetness and some maltiness, but nothing worth writing home about.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Sammy (5888) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 10, 2007
cream ale in very malty aroma only, it was like an old ale in colour, light head. Somewhat sour bitter and dry finish.Still, at 4.5% two beers were fine at lunch.
2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Ughsmash (5632) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 31, 2006
Bottled. Poured a clear medium golden with a tall cap of thick-ish white head. Nose was muted by a nitrous-type aire... sweet caramel, herbs, very mild pine, and citrus come through with some coaxing. Mild sweet caramel and toffee base for the flavor... surrounded by sweet herbal and pine bitterness. A hint of citrus was found at the finish. Lighter-bodied. Fairly smooth, but a tad spritzy at the finish. Tasty brew.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 jerc (5446) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 29, 2005
dark amber with a moderate off white head. Sweet earthy malt in both the
aroma, and the lead in of the flavour. Minerally notes with watery moments.
Very mild bitterness. Average palate, dry minerally aftertaste lingers.
Bottle from LCBO singles bin may not be in its prime. Decent, but a pale
shadow of the beer as I remembered it on tap many years ago, which I equated
roughly to Bass at the time. Deserves a second chance but this sample
doesn’t make me eager to spring for a full six pack.

bottle at C’est What
Appearance: clear straight forward amber , creamy mid white top, some lace. Nose: Grainy , bit flat nose , slight dust on sweet malts. Ordinary. Flavor/Palate : Mid bodied , fairly soft. Straight grainy industrial feel. Not overly carbonated.
