patrick767 (1547), fort wayne, Indiana, USA Jun 22, 2008 tap at Big Rock in Seoul - Pours amber with a mild caramel malt aroma. It tastes light, sweet, and creamy. It’s a little water. This beer is smooth and easy drinking with some flavor that at least puts it well above your typical macro suds.
hobbersr (53), Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada Oct 23, 2008 Pours a reddish-coppery colour with a tiny white head that runs to the walls very quickly. Very translucent for a brown ale. Aroma is of malt, a hint of something metallic, and sourness. Taste is of brown sugar, sour fruits and a slight nuttyness on the end. It’s sweet, sour and bitter. Lacks comcentration, not a good example of a brown ale. mbgrayson (60), Anaconda, Montana, USA Sep 6, 2008 Purchased in Ganges BC in a 12 oz can. Amber color, not very distinctive. So-so, really. Agree that there’s not much ’there’ there. fiulijn (6010), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Aug 5, 2008 Draught at Ship and Anchor, Calgary
Light amber color. Light and dry caramel flavor. Correctly bitter. Too simple and boring. robinvboyer (1071), Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, Canada Mar 31, 2008 I can’t believe i haven’t rated this before! i used to drink on a semi regular basis. Its a pretty middle of the road, maybe even sub par brown ale. Wattery, and thin like most fo the Big Rock beers, some slight malt notes, and a touch of roast, but meh, pretty boring.
