2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 CapFlu (4010) - Victoria, British Columbia, - DEC 2, 2002Nutty like the brewers who come up with the names. I would definitely venture towards the English or Irish ales if this sounds somewhat appealing.

Calgary Beer Fest. Pours clear gold with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is honey and caramel malt, pear esters and no hops. Flavor is malt, honey, light fruity esters, no hops or bitterness, and a sweet finish. Light body and medium carbonation.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Lagerboy (670) - British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 5, 2013
Clear medium orange copper, small foamy off white head vanishes. Muted malty aroma. Thin caramel malt taste, lightly sweet, some vague nuttiness. Softly carbed, light bodied, low hopped. An inoffensive and ordinary ale. LF (Lagerboy Friendly)

0.33 l bottle at Whistler. Very boring and uninspiring Ale taste... One is enough...
1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 simonblaine (100) - Alberta, CANADA - JAN 7, 2013
Sigh, I want to support the local stuff, but this is pretty boring. The best thing about it is the label. Watery, with bready aroma, just another ordinary beer.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 vadie (210) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 27, 2012
Du malt, caramel, et pain. Le goût est faible, mais assez complexe quand même. Une de mes bières préféré de Big Rock.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 lotsalaughs (104) - Alberta, CANADA - DEC 2, 2012
caramel, bread, toast, grass, leaves, orange, clear, white foam, light sweetness, medium bitterness, lightly sour, light body, thin feel, average carbonation, astringent
Copper pour with minimal head. Light aroma of grass/toast. Medium bitterness and some caramel/toffee sweetness present. Overly thin though, but on the refreshing side. Astringency is light and pleasant. I agree with others posting here that this presents a more watered down version of their Traditional Ale (which I quite enjoy on tap).
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Reimer96 (590) - Alberta, CANADA - NOV 7, 2012
Pours a clear reddish gold color with little head. Smell is toffee and nuts and taste is toffee up front with a very minimal hop finish. Very thin beer, a watered down trad.
1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20 geoffcountry (5) - - JUN 26, 2012 does not count
Fine. Not very much taste, more on the caramally side with a bit of cigarrette butt on the finish. Not really offensive but to be honest, not really anything
1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20 cards04 (826) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - JUN 3, 2012
Pours a dark tan. Slight grain aroma. Slightly creamy mouthfeel. A bit of grains and sweetness on the tongue. Terrible example of a brown ale.
2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 monkeychugg55 (781) - Joliet, Illinois, USA - MAY 17, 2012
Light, Irish ale aroma, mostly dark caramel malts. The flavor is all sweet, with slightly nutty, but mostly crystal malts. Pretty thin palate.
