<i> Bright bottled at Reading Beer Festival. </i> When sampled at the festival my notes were "Dark amber strong ale. Sweet and fruity with a late tang. Score 3.3" It survived the journey home very well. There’s little condition, but it tastes fresh. There’s a bland fruity sweetness followed by a good bitter finish, mostly earthy, though with a slight orange citric tang. The abv adds body but little else. Those who like Fullers ESB will like this, but there’s little genuine character. Score dropped upon closer examination of the details.
