3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: JAN 22, 2011 Bottle shared at a recent BA/RB tasting [2009 Vintage]... Poured amber/reddish with a tan head. Vanilla, oak, sugary malts. Still a slight boozy tone after a year, but it really melded nicely with candied caramel, and toast toffee flavors.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a nice dark orangish red, with a long lasting tan head, from a 750 ml bottle. Notes of prune, raisins, and carmel. A good effort for a strong Belgian, with that clear high alcohol bite. Still, very drinkable, a thumbs up from me!
