This beer is a hazy golden color with a large white head that seems to fade at a mild pace, and the aroma combines hints of sour fruit, yeast, and rye. The taste is quite sour, slightly bitter, and a touch sweet, which doesn’t give me the balance and flavor combinations I expect when I see a "saison." Furthermore, the palate combines a medium body, soft carbonation, slick texture, and a sour finish.

A golden orange color with a big rocky off white head with nice retention and good lacing. I get lemon and orange zest aroma with a little funk and grain on the nose. Taste light fruit, orange and banana, with quite a bit of toasted grain and a bit of pepperiness. Has a saltine cracker flavor mid palate and finishes semi dry with a slight bitterness and more grain. Soft mouthfeel with a light/medium body and medium carbonation. A little clean and a bit off for the style. Could use some more funk and less grain, but not a bad tasting beer.

On tap at Tapwerks. Pours a near clear gold with a large white head that lasts throughout the beer and laces nicely. Aroma has a good amount of earthy grain and grass with a bit of resin and earthy fruit. Flavor starts with sweet grain and light fruits with a good amount of grass hops underlying.

Bottle. The look is clear, golden in color, and and a good white head. The smell is yeasty, noble hops, florals, and decent. The taste is crisp, yeast, dry, grain, and ok.

Wittales (610) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - MAY 22, 2013
Appearance was cloudy light golden with diminishing white creamy 1 finger head, hints of lacing. Aromas are stale bread, citrus fruits, dirty socks, funky yeasts. Taste are grainy wheat, slight pils or pale malts. Lemony hops and then funky sour barnyard, not in good way. Palate was soft creamy co2 with light body, citrusy, medincial stale bread lasting unbalanced finish. Not my cup of tea...

(12oz bottle thnks to mora2000) clear light gold, fine white bubbles. Nose is wheat, raw grain mash, bit of creamsickle, stale fruit, cherry. Taste is a little better, spicy wheat, fruity, odd grain mash, slightly sweet and medium carbonation.

Bottle. The body is bright almost deep gold copper with a thick dense white head. The nose has plenty of funk and fruity sweetness like apples. There is also that smell of old library books, pleasingly sweet, not dusty. The taste is relatively funky at first, finishing with ashy wood notes. There is also some hay and a little bit of apple core. I got a slightly soapy hint in the finish. Decent effort.
