bottle. lightly hazed gold body with a small white head, some lacing, light effervescence. potato starch, minerals, dried fruit peel, white pepper, crunchy egg shell / sulfur-accented pale malt nose with little hop aroma. medium-light body with rigid, crunchy, husky malt texture and a stale and dull and lifeless Belgian-type yeast. dried fruit peel and pith and vitamins and dried pineapple pieces found in trail-mix, that sort of thing. low bitterness; more dry than sweet. lacks major flaws but seems to be a rather pointless beer - the aroma and flavor are plain and as a whole the beer does little to excite me.

Twelve ounce bottle, a limited release. Pours a cloudy golden color, with a long lasting white head. Aroma is thinly of hops. Taste is typical of a Saison. Good flavor, but this isnít my favorite style. Thumbs up.

Bottle. The look is clear, golden in color, and and a good white head. The smell is yeasty, noble hops, florals, and decent. The taste is crisp, yeast, dry, grain, and ok.

On tap at Tapwerks. Pours a near clear gold with a large white head that lasts throughout the beer and laces nicely. Aroma has a good amount of earthy grain and grass with a bit of resin and earthy fruit. Flavor starts with sweet grain and light fruits with a good amount of grass hops underlying.

Aroma is spices and citrus, almost close to overboard. The flavor is citrus, light bananas, malts and tart/almost sourish finish.

~Pils malt aroma, bready with lemon and peppery spice. Refreshing. ~Pours a hazy light gold color with big foamy lasting white head. ~Bitter lemon peel in flavor with lots of spice and earthy hops. Kinda a strange spice flavor combo in there. ~Medium light bodied with high CO2, frothy mouthfeel, lingering strange spice finish. ~Its a drinkable beer, but the strange spicy flavor is a turn off for me. Luckily got this on sale for $3.99 a six pack!

Picked up a 16-oz can four pack from Heritage Liquors in Maplewood, MN. Pours a clear golden pale yellow colored brew with an average sized off-white head that lowly dissipates. Aroma of golden grain malt, a hint of floral hops and a touch of bread yeast. Taste is light to medium bodied bodied, with flavors of spiced saison yeast, a touch of smoked golden grain malt with a touch of grassy hops. Finish is semi-dry with a lightly smoked golden grain malt and saison yeast aftertaste with a hint of white pepper.

Clear golden; white head. Aroma just like that of the saison I home brewed last fall. Decent, but doesnít stand out. Taste is thin and weak and a touch off. Body is light-medium and slick. In all categories besides aroma, even my super-first attempt-amateur saison was far superior. This is perfectly acceptable as a session type beer, but itís poor amongst saisons.

From bottle. Murky gold pour with some decent white head and lacing. Nose is sweet with some spice. Taste is in line with the nose. Clean finish. Not bad, but a bit too sweet and a little thin.
