Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. Yellow with a white head. The aroma is full of lemons and biscuit malt, as well as some Belgian yeast and grass. The flavor is fairly sweet with some strong candy sugar notes. I also get some wheat, Belgian yeast, wheat and alcohol. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Not traditionally a fan of the style but this one wasn’t nearly as sweet and cloying as others. Candied oranges, lemon drops, and sugar dusted grapefruit along with a light grassy, earthy note. Ample carbonation, fizzy white head, 14-karat gold body. Lighter than most tripels. Not bad.

Draft at sb. Pours a cloudy dark gold with a loose white head. Intense sweet cream and green apple nose. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Sweet cream and green apple mid palate. Gets a little overly phenolic and metallicy in spots. Lobg tangy finish.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 cpetrone84 (959) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 10, 2012
pour is a hazy dark orange with a sparse large bubbles white head. The nose is boozy and sweet. Lemon, banana, candied sugar, and some spicy yeast and sweet malt undertone. The taste is also boozy, some bourbon notes, candied sugar, lemon and banana esters, some peppery spice, sweet malt underneath with a fair bit of heat in the finish. The body is heavy and syrupy, moderate carb, prickly on the back of the throat. Not a super easy drink and tons of sugar and sweetness.

Draught. Not a bad ale at all. Fruity aroma. Unpleasant alcohol burn that brings down the fruity aroma, full fruity body. Still, withal, this is not a bad beer. Drink it if it is on the menu

Sampled at an rsbls tasting. Mfrom Kenny. A big soapy off white head. Clear and golden. I smell yeast, sugar, and wheat. Spices are tasted first. This is sweet! Alcohol is evident. Yeast flavor. This would be a nice winter evening beer. Tasty.
