Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of anders37. Bottle # 1/3000! Pours a hazy golden with a tiny, tiny white head. Fruity, bananaish aroma - somewhat overripe. Very solid body, very sweet and fruity - almost sugary - some yeast and phenols with a massive alcohol bite in the finish. A bit much. 241010

Poor, poor Bobo. Damn! This cork was under high pressure and shot off once the cage was twisted off and hit my ceiling with brut force trauma. I almost ended like poor Bobo. Maybe it was the ghost of Bobo? Brew pours a hazed golden color with a tall lasting head. Smells of cured meat and sweet banana pulp. Full and viscous on the palate with creamy effers. Super rich and malty sweet doubling up on the banana fat and vanilla with a defined medicinal essence reminiscent of an old world style. Wow! this is almost barley wine sweet. Theres a powdery hop promotion going on during the final stages. This is very rustic with a heart attack in a glass disposition. Did I say it was thick and blubbery yet?

(2009 version 750ml 1231 of 3000) HUGE CORK POP!! Gorgeous lacy white head. Yellow golden body. Aroma a cross between grass and corn. Lots of alcohol in flavor. Slight bit of candy cane flavor too. Alcohol lingers on the palate in the aftertaste. Frankly pretty disappointed in this one. Maybe there was something wrong with this bottle after looking at the other ratings.

750 bought at Binny’s (was Sam’s) Chicago. Well carbonated. Banana in the nose. Sweet, candy taste. A lot of sugar there. But overall, light and refreshing.
