pour is a hazy dark orange with a sparse large bubbles white head. The nose is boozy and sweet. Lemon, banana, candied sugar, and some spicy yeast and sweet malt undertone. The taste is also boozy, some bourbon notes, candied sugar, lemon and banana esters, some peppery spice, sweet malt underneath with a fair bit of heat in the finish. The body is heavy and syrupy, moderate carb, prickly on the back of the throat. Not a super easy drink and tons of sugar and sweetness.

Draught. Not a bad ale at all. Fruity aroma. Unpleasant alcohol burn that brings down the fruity aroma, full fruity body. Still, withal, this is not a bad beer. Drink it if it is on the menu

Sampled at an rsbls tasting. Mfrom Kenny. A big soapy off white head. Clear and golden. I smell yeast, sugar, and wheat. Spices are tasted first. This is sweet! Alcohol is evident. Yeast flavor. This would be a nice winter evening beer. Tasty.

750ml bottle from the BA Gang Bang BIF. Pours a hazy, deep gold with a frothy white head. Looks like it has some heavy carbonation. Nose has tropical fruits, a little cider, candy sugar, a little estery. Flavor is sweet, tropical fruit candy, cloves, a little banana liqueur. Full bodied, sweet but dry finish.

750ml from Pick’s poured into my Chimay Trappist glass. 2009 vintage bottle number 2643 of 3000 Pours a hazy gold with 2 fingers of white head. Aroma of citrus and yeast. Taste is medium sweet. Candied sugar, wheat, yeast and light citrus. Medium-full bodied with a thick texture. Lively carbonation and a long sweet finish. The carbonation explodes in your mouth. Very champagne-like. Overall, very good. I’ll definitly be drinking this again, but probably splitting with a friend.

DLD 10’ Shared on the bus ride to Dark Lord day. Poured an hayey yellow orange with a big white head. Nose and taste were floral, a bit sweeet, crisp and dry. A fairly solid beer IMO

2009 version, bottle 898 of 3000. Gold, big white head. Smells - look, I’m gonna be honest here: The word "boozy" shows up in my notes , like 4 or 5 times. Usually, that’s kind of a deal breaker for me, but it kinda works here. So, yeah - alcohol, some peppery notes, some winey notes, and as it warms I swear I got a minty flavor. and booze. I don’t know if I could finish an entire 750, but I liked my sample.
