COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This big, rich IPA features Simcoe hops which give it both a fruity, piney hop nose and a clean, ringing bitterness. IN-between, the malt flavor is slightly caramel for a touch of malt sweetness. This IPA is well-balanced and very expressive with hops.

Draft. Pours amber with an off white head. Sweet malts, toffee, with flowery and earthy hops. More like a well balanced amber ale. Not awful.

Good IPA. Floral aroma coupled with a deep copper color. Taste is floral, grapefruit, and hoppy bitterness. Decent malt base. I'd drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The colour is right, but just too translucent, with a very un-creamy, bubbly white head. The aroma has peaches, grapefruits and a funny whiff of exacerbated enteric gram-negative activity, better known Motecuzoma’s revenge (yes, this is the right spelling). Chardonnay notes become more evident as the beer warms. The flavour is a nice hoppy IPA flavour, with an interesting balance of bitters, fruits, florals and malt, and it does taste to me more like a very strong American Pale Ale. Nice oily palate, but still not as thick as I would want a fabulous IPA to be.

Dont seek out but dont avoid either if offered. Has nice grapefruit carmel popcorn taste combination, but it falls short of the leading ipa’s because it has a thin body which makes it seem overcarbonated, giving it an unpleasant sharpness in the finish. Good not great, story of Big Sky’s life.

From bottle. Pours a very nice burnt orange with about a finger of light tan head. Solid lacing. Tremendously appealing piney, citrusy hops. Taste is similar; almost perfect balance and a clean, dry finish. Well done, Big Sky.

Poured from 12oz bottle from letspour.com. Dark orange/amber color, good lacing on a small amount of white head. Awesome fruity and citrus aroma. Taste is crazy smooth, slick, easy drinking. Malts, citrus, floral, carmel, and well balanced. Really liked it

Somewhat hazy copper orange pour. Medium off white head. Good lacing. Floral piney hop aroma. Not much malt in aroma. Flavor follows pretty close. A little dank. Piney and floral. Mild caramel sweetness. Clean pretty neutral finish. ---Rated via iPhone

Appearance was deep orange gold with creamy off white dimimishing 1 finger head, spotty lacing. Aromas are sweet caramel, toffee pale malts, light citrus hop nose, no alcohol. Taste are soft grapefruit, lemon, sticky hops, but he sweet malts are overpowering for an IPA. Palate was smooth soft CO2 with medium body, lasting malty slightly resinous finish. The sweet malts dominates, I’ve had hoppier APA’s.
